Family Services
Family Therapy & Parenting Support is designed to help families communicate more effectively, reduce conflict, and create a calmer, more connected home environment. Trish specializes in guiding parents, children, and teens through practical skills that improve emotional awareness, cooperation, and daily interactions. This approach integrates respectful communication strategies such as active listening, validation, and “I-statements,” along with healthy boundary-setting and structured parenting tools that decrease power struggles and increase consistency at home. Anger-management strategies are also woven into the work, helping families recognize early warning signs, understand triggers, and use calming techniques that prevent escalation. Polyvagal-informed methods are used to help families understand their nervous system responses and restore regulation during moments of stress. Grounding, breathwork, and connection-focused techniques support both children and adults in feeling safer, more stable, and more in control. The goal of this service is to help families build stronger communication, manage emotions more effectively, and develop lasting tools that support a peaceful, respectful, and emotionally secure family environment.
